CinemaTexto
La premisa del CinemaTexto es la de unir en una misma obra de arte el Cine y la Literatura, hacer converger las disciplinas artísticas aparentemente más contrapuestas en un mismo todo.
La idea es unir en una misma obra de arte el Cine y la Literatura en un nuevo tipo de creación deudora de ambos padres. El objetivo es lograr contar una historia usando estos dos formatos, mezclar estas partes en una gran unidad, no importando el orden, concatenación ni duración de los hechos narrados, puesto que de la misma forma que las libro o las películas, los creadores tendrán total libertad para representar su historia como les plazca, sin embargo el único requisito será el usar estas dos formas de arte en su producto final. No existirá ningún tipo de normativa para el Cinema-texto, lo fundamental será el uso perenne de la Literatura y Cine para crear nuevos tipos de expresión o más bien reciclar los ya existentes.
El CinemaTexto no es una nueva forma de cine, tampoco de videoarte o una instalación, ni una perfomance. El CinemaTexto, intenta ser un nuevo tipo de obra artística usando la imagen y la palabras .En su materialidad el CinemaTexto , sería idealmente algo así como un libro-objeto, pero respecto a esto tampoco hay algo tan definitivo.
El CinemaTexto podrá estar compuesto tanto como por un cuento, una novela o cualquier tipo de narración escrita, así como por un cortometraje o un largometraje, como dije anteriormente no habrá más normativas que las señaladas al principio.
El CinemaTexto apela a lo multimedial de nuestros tiempos en pos de un goce artístico, la tarea será entonces lograr un equilibrio entre estos dos lenguajes, generar una simbiosis entre la escritura y la filmación, entre las palabras y las imágenes en movimiento.
El CinemaTexto pretende generar una nueva generación de narradores-directores, o tal como se define una combinación entre escritores y directores de cine.
La idea no es hacer adaptaciones de libros, ni libros basados en películas, sino que experimentar con obras nuevas.

The premise of CinemaText is uniting in a single creation the arts of cinema and literature, bringing two seemingly contrasting disciplines together.
The finished work is a new kind of art that is indebted to both its parent forms. The objective is to tell a story using both formats, integrating them in a single piece. Meanwhile, the order, intermeshing and duration of the cinematic and textual elements are entirely malleable, such that just as in creating a book or movie, the artists have complete freedom to relate their story as they wish. The only guideline and core principle for CinemaText is the use of both formats in the final product: the ongoing use of both literature and cinema will create new forms of expression, or rather, new uses of those forms that already exist. There will be no other rules.
CinemaText is not a new kind of cinema, nor of videoart, installation, or performance. Instead, it represents a new form of artistic work using both the moving image and the written word. Ultimately, CinemaText might take a form similar to a book or other object, but we need not establish any definitive form.
CinemaText could consist as easily of a story, novel or any other written narrative, as of a feature film or short. As stated earlier, there are no rules except using both formats together. CinemaText aims to generate a new generation of narrator-directors (or however else those who combine writing and film-directing might be known). The idea is not to create movie adaptations of books, nor books based on movies, but to experiment with new works.
As a new medium for artistic enjoyment, CinemaText appeals to our evolving multi-media sensibilities. Our task, then, will be to find a balance between the two languages from which it draws. We charge ourselves with embracing both writing and filming, words and moving images – and creating a living symbiosis between them.
